Commune police promptly supported a heroic Vietnamese mother who suffered from a serious illness in the flood.

On the morning of October 28, Vu Gia Commune Police (Da Nang) and local forces deployed a rescue canoe to help people bring Heroic Mother Le Thi Nam (residing in Thanh Van village, Vu Gia commune) and an emergency case of suspected appendicitis onto the canoe, crossing the vast sea to a higher-level hospital for treatment.

Previously, on the evening of October 27, Vu Gia Commune Police received information that Nam's mother was being treated at Dai Cuong Medical Station, at risk of oxygen deficiency while the rescue canoe could not reach her due to rising floodwaters.

Vu Gia commune police organized to transport oxygen tanks at night to serve the treatment of Nam's mother.

Vu Gia Commune Police officers participated in carrying Nam's mother through the flood to the rescue canoe to transport her to a higher-level hospital.

Mother Nam and another patient were taken by canoe to a higher level hospital during the flood.

Immediately, the Commune Police and the Vu Gia Commune Civil Defense Force used a boat to overcome the flood, approached Dai Minh Medical Station to receive the oxygen tank and transported it to Dai Cuong Medical Station in time, helping to maintain the mother's health.
