Boat capsized while catching rats in flood, 1 person missing

While catching rats in the flood, the boat capsized, causing Mr. H and Mr. C to fall into the water about 2 meters deep. Authorities later rescued Mr. H, but Mr. C went missing.

At about 9:30 a.m. on October 28, Mr. Tang Van H (born in 1957, residing in Ha Tay 2 residential group, Dien Ban Bac ward, Da Nang city) and Mr. Tang Van C (born in 1974, residing in Ha Tay 1 residential group, Dien Ban Bac ward) used a small tin boat to kill rats in Xom Bung residential group, Dien Ban Bac ward.

A large number of authorities and local people organized a search for Mr. C.

While killing rats, the boat unfortunately capsized, causing both of them to fall into the flood water about 2 meters deep. Upon receiving the information, Dien Ban Bac Ward Police, along with the Military and the ward's disaster prevention and control team, quickly deployed to the scene and rescued Mr. H, but Mr. C was missing.

Currently, the authorities, in coordination with the volunteer search team, are still trying to expand the search area to find Mr. C.
