Announcement of 2 Resolutions of the National Assembly on amending and supplementing the 2013 Constitution

The National Assembly established a Committee to draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution to preside over and coordinate with agencies to carry out the task of drafting a Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 194/2025/QH15, the National Assembly decided to consider amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to implement the policy of streamlining the organization of the political system, focusing on regulations on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and the delimitation of administrative units and local government organizations.

The National Assembly established a Committee to draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution to preside over and coordinate with agencies to develop a draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and submit it to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the 9th Session.

Establishment of the Drafting Committee to amend and supplement a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution

Pursuant to Resolution No. 195/2025/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to "Establish a Committee to draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution" including:

- Mr. Tran Thanh Man , Chairman of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Committee;

- Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Standing member of the Central Party Secretariat, Vice Chairman of the Committee;

- Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Vice Chairman of the Committee;

- Mr. Le Thanh Long, Deputy Prime Minister, Vice Chairman of the Committee;

- Mr. Hoang Thanh Tung, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice, Standing Member;

- Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh, Minister of Justice, Standing Member;

- Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Standing Member;

- Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Chairwoman of the National Assembly Delegation Work Committee, Member;

- Mr. Duong Thanh Binh, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for People's Aspirations and Supervision, Member;

- Mr. Le Quang Tung, Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office, Member;

- Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, Member;

- Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Member;

- Mr. Pham Tat Thang, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Member;

- Mr. Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Member;

- Mr. Cao Huy, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Member.

The Committee for Drafting Amendments and Supplements to a Number of Articles of the 2013 Constitution has the task of researching and developing a draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; organizing the collection of opinions from the People, sectors and levels; explaining and accepting the opinions of the People, sectors and levels, and the opinions of National Assembly deputies to complete the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and approval.

The Committee for drafting amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution is authorized to use the seal of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice is the standing body, directly advising and assisting the Committee in drafting amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution. The Standing Committee of the Nationalities Council and the Committees of the National Assembly coordinate with the Standing Committee of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice in performing their tasks.

The Office of the National Assembly is responsible for ensuring funding and other necessary conditions, organizing and serving the activities of the Committee for drafting amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and the standing body of the Committee for drafting amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.

The Committee for drafting amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution dissolved itself after completing its tasks.
