(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of May 28, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council for the Ban Mong Reservoir Project Phase 1, Nghe An Province in Nhu Xuan District, in coordination with the People's Committee of Xuan Hoa Commune, had a working session with Thanh Hoa Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. and local households on the announcement of the decision to reclaim land to implement the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Component of the Ban Mong Reservoir Project Phase 1.

Recently, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of the Ban Mong Reservoir Project in Nhu Xuan district has fully implemented and ensured the steps, order and procedures to approve the compensation, support and resettlement plan for 34 households and individuals who have contracts with Thanh Hoa Rubber One Member Co., Ltd.

Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Provincial People's Committee, in order to ensure the progress of the project, on May 21, 2025, the People's Committee of Nhu Xuan district issued Decision No. 1095/QD-UBND on land recovery to implement the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Component of the Ban Mong Reservoir Project, Phase 1, Nghe An province in Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province (Destination area of ​​Xuan Hoa commune, Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province), phase 1.

Based on the decision on land recovery issued, on May 26, 2025, the District Project Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council sent the Decision to relevant agencies and organizations whose land was recovered, namely Thanh Hoa Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. and Bai Tranh Team.

Speaking at the meeting, representatives of the households requested Thanh Hoa Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. and Vietnam Rubber Industry Group to be responsible for supporting part of the costs in the process of caring for and managing the garden up to now.

At the working session with Thanh Hoa Rubber One Member Co., Ltd., the representative of the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Component Council of the district announced Decision No. 1095/QD-UBND of the district on the recovery of 630,263.4 m2 (perennial land) of Thanh Hoa Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. to implement the construction of the resettlement area and the contents of the project. At the same time, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Component Council of the district requested Thanh Hoa Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. and households that have land transfer contracts with the company to strictly implement the land recovery decision approved by the District People's Committee and directed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province. Request Thanh Hoa Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. to complete relevant procedures, coordinate with the Project Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council to receive compensation funds for rubber trees according to regulations and hand over assets according to the provisions of law along with handing over land in the field to the Land Acquisition Council as soon as possible so that the Council can carry out procedures to start construction of the resettlement area according to the direction of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province.
