In recent days, after being discharged from Military Hospital 175 , Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga, a union member of Production Team 3, Farm 719, received news that her husband had a traffic accident and had to be transferred to Military Hospital 175 for treatment of a traumatic brain injury. Knowing that Ms. Nga's family was in a difficult situation, the Trade Union of Farm 719 organized a visit to encourage the family. At the same time, it called on union members throughout the farm to join hands and support. After a week of launching, on the morning of May 30, the Trade Union of Farm 719 presented more than 31.6 million VND in support to Ms. Nga's family.
In order to carry out the function of protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests as well as taking care of improving the lives of employees and workers, the Trade Union Executive Committee coordinates with the Board of Directors of the farm and production departments and teams to pay attention to resolving policies, welfare and benefits; creating conditions for workers to have the best working environment. The Trade Union always cares for and promptly encourages union members with difficult circumstances or encourages and gives gifts to union members and their children on holidays, New Year, and anniversaries of the year with an amount of over 100 million VND/year.
Lieutenant Colonel Vu Van Bien, Chairman of the Trade Union of Farm 719, said: Established and operating for more than 25 years, the Trade Union organization, together with the Board of Directors of the farm, has taken good care of the lives of workers. Determining that trade union activities contribute to creating harmony and cohesion between workers and business owners, the Executive Board of the Trade Union has gradually concretized the movements into specific actions, associated with the practical interests of workers. Always close to, understanding and grasping the aspirations of workers, is a bridge between workers and farm leaders.
Along with performing well the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of cadres, employees and workers, in recent years, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union has organized effective mass movements, many forms of propaganda,education , building a team of cadres, employees and workers, consolidating and building a strong trade union... In addition, the Trade Union has coordinated with production departments and teams to well implement the grassroots democracy regulations at the workplace, creating conditions for workers to know, participate in giving opinions, deciding and supervising issues related to their rights, legitimate interests, obligations and responsibilities. Thanks to that, it has contributed to the farm in completing business targets, ensuring that all workers have enough jobs and stable income.
Lieutenant Colonel Vu Van Luong, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Regiment 719, shared: In recent years, the grassroots trade union has always been at the forefront of the unit's activities and launched by all levels, actively participating in cultural, sports , humanitarian and charitable activities... which is a bright spot in the workers' activities of the entire corps. For many years, the farm's grassroots trade union has been awarded certificates of merit and certificates of merit by the leaders of Regiment 719, Corps 16.
Currently, the 719 Farm Trade Union has 170 members, operating in 8 trade unions. Each union official determines that they must be dedicated, enthusiastic, and close to the workers in order to do well in trade union work. The union officials will be a solid support, an inspiration for the workers' lives, jobs, and incomes to become better and better, to be attached to the unit, and to contribute to the successful construction of economic development projects associated with strengthening national defense and security in the area where the unit is located.
