Recognizing Bac Ha Vegetable and Fruit Research and Production Camp as a tourist destination

The farm belongs to the Agricultural Seed Center under the Department of Agriculture and Environment of the province, about 1 km from the center of Bac Ha town, located at an altitude of 960 m on a hill right at the foot of Co Tien mountain, with a total area of ​​13.25 hectares. This place has a cool climate, favorable soil conditions for growing and researching temperate tree varieties such as plum, peach, pear, persimmon, vegetables and medicinal plants.

Bac Ha Vegetable Research and Production Camp is recognized as a tourist destination.

The infrastructure for tourism at the Bac Ha Vegetable and Fruit Research and Production Camp is increasingly complete. The campus has a convenient internal road system, a 700 m² parking lot that can accommodate 30-45-seat vehicles, free telephone and wifi coverage. The camp has 2 motels specializing in overnight accommodations, a house introducing local OCOP products, a snack area, providing photo-taking costume rental services and selling agricultural products.

The camp is now an attractive destination for tourists to explore , experience the flower and fruit seasons and learn about the typical agricultural activities of the highlands.

Bac Ha Vegetable and Fruit Research and Production Farm attracts tourists, especially during the flowering season of temperate fruit trees.

Being recognized as a tourist destination opens up opportunities to develop agricultural tourism associated with research, conservation and promotion of Lao Cai's specialty crop varieties.

The Provincial People's Committee has assigned relevant departments, branches and the Bac Ha District People's Committee to organize the management, exploitation and development of the Bac Ha Vegetable and Fruit Research and Production Camp tourist site in accordance with legal regulations.
