Public opinion work must be the bridge between the Party's will and the people's hearts.

On the morning of March 22, at the headquarters of Tay Ho District Party Committee, the Central Propaganda Department coordinated with the Propaganda Department of Hanoi Party Committee to organize a scientific seminar to contribute ideas to the Project to summarize 10 years of implementing Conclusion No. 100-KL/TW of the 11th Party Central Committee Secretariat on "Innovation and improvement of the quality of investigation, grasping and researching public opinion".

In her opening speech at the seminar, Director of the Institute of Public Opinion (Central Propaganda Department) Pham Thu Ha stated that through the scientific seminar, the Central Propaganda Department and the Institute of Public Opinion wanted to listen to opinions and discussions on the results of 10 years of implementing Conclusion No. 100-KL/TW of the Secretariat and Instruction No. 167-HD/BTGTTU of the Central Propaganda Department on the basis of closely following the viewpoints, goals, tasks and solutions set out. In particular, the outstanding results, bottlenecks, bottlenecks and causes affecting the quality and effectiveness of public opinion work in the past time were emphasized.

At the seminar, delegates focused on giving their opinions on the contents of the Project such as: Implementation status of Conclusion 100-KL/TW; directions, tasks and main solutions to continue to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of public opinion work; implementation organization. Opinions were unanimous, Conclusion 100-KL/TW is the only directive document of the Party dedicated to public opinion work. The birth of the Conclusion has met practical requirements, timely supplemented, created an important political basis to ensure the leadership and direction of the Party on public opinion work.

After 10 years of implementing Conclusion 100-KL/TW, public opinion work nationwide has generally received attention, focused leadership, and serious implementation from Party committees, authorities, localities, and units, and achieved many positive results with many creative and practical approaches.

Thanks to that, the awareness of Party committees, authorities and organizations at all levels about the role and importance of public opinion work continues to be raised. At the same time, it is determined that this is a regular and important task of the entire political system of each cadre and party member, especially of Party committees and heads of Party committees and authorities at all levels.

Through organizing, investigating and grasping public opinion, it has helped Party committees and authorities at all levels have more important and necessary sources of reference information in planning policies on socio-economic development and strengthening national defense and security.

Thereby, contributing to stabilizing the political situation, mood, and ideology of cadres, party members, and people, limiting complaints and cross-level complaints, and situations that arise, not accumulating into "hot spots", contributing to building the Party in terms of politics, ideology, and ethics, building a clean and strong political system, and creating consensus in society.

Promoting the achieved results, overcoming the existing limitations, and absorbing the experiences from 10 years of implementing Conclusion 100-KL/TW, in the coming time, public opinion work needs to continue to innovate and improve its quality; promote the proactiveness and sense of responsibility of Party committees and authorities at all levels, especially leaders, closely following the domestic and international situation. At the same time, ensure timeliness, objectivity, science, persuasion, high reliability and be linked to the political tasks and socio-economic development of the country in general, and of each locality, unit, and agency in particular.

Public opinion work must be a bridge between the "Party's will" and the "people's heart", becoming an important channel of information and criticism serving the process of forming, perfecting and implementing important guidelines, policies and guidelines of the Party and laws of the State, meeting the requirements of the Party building tasks in terms of politics, ideology and ethics in general and propaganda work in particular in the new situation.
