Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company: Actively building the movement of All people protecting national security

Along with efforts in effective production and business, in recent years, Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company has also actively participated in building the movement of All people protecting national security and order at the unit, bringing about encouraging results.

Raise awareness for workers

Faced with the complicated developments of the world and the situation in the East Sea in the region, the task of building a movement for the entire people to protect the national security is urgent, regular and continuous. To maintain political stability and security, Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company has thoroughly disseminated the work of protecting political security and economic security to each party member, security force, self-defense force, fire prevention and fighting team and the company's youth volunteer team, identifying this as a regular task and the responsibility of the Party Committee and the company's leadership.

In the past time, the Party Committee of the company has thoroughly disseminated the National Crime Prevention Program and the Drug Prevention Action Program to its staff and employees. The company also organized all employees to sign a commitment not to store, trade, transport, or use drugs; and committed to building a safe enterprise in terms of security and order. The company's Board of Directors has thoroughly disseminated to all employees in the company the methods and tricks of property theft crimes, and promoted awareness among employees and employees about prevention, detection, denunciation, and arrest of criminals.

In addition, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the company also organized for party members, cadres and employees to continue implementing Directive 05 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. Accordingly, at the beginning of the year, each cadre and party member develops a plan and registers to follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; connects emulation movements in labor and production, strives to excellently complete the tasks of the year launched by the general director and the chairman of the company's trade union.

Mr. Le Quang Vu, Manager of the Song Ba Ha Hydropower Plant's Operation Workshop, said: The Song Ba Ha Hydropower Plant is located in Suoi Trai Commune, Son Hoa District. This is an area bordering the Central Highlands, so it is very sensitive in terms of security and order.

Therefore, every staff and worker at the factory is very self-conscious, raising the sense of responsibility in protecting and maintaining security and order, ensuring that bad elements do not incite, defraud, or cause internal disunity. Along with the participation of the company, each worker has proactively prevented and fought to prevent, so that over the past many years there has been no loss of security and order in the factory area, ensuring the safest and most effective operation of the units.

Keep the agency safe

In order to maintain security and order in the agency, Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company has promptly built regulations and rules on political security and social order and safety in accordance with production and business conditions. With the help of the Provincial Police and Son Hoa District Police, the company has built a "3 no" model including no crime, no drugs and no social evils.

The company also regularly conducts surprise inspections of security patrols and 24/7 professional security teams at key locations of the factory, including the factory area, spillway area, water intake, etc., to promptly detect and correct any errors. In fact, over the past years, the security forces have successfully completed their assigned tasks, preventing any loss of security and order at the unit.

Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company also coordinated with the Military Command of Son Hoa district to establish a local self-defense platoon with 28 members; the company established a fire prevention and fighting team with 27 members and a security youth team with 39 members to ensure safety and security in the area of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Plant.

In recent times, the security youth force has been effective, regularly coordinating with security forces to increase patrols and guard, protect targets during holidays and Tet, directly participating in preventing, fighting and overcoming the consequences of storms and floods under the direction of the company's flood and storm prevention committee.

At the same time, Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company has coordinated with the professional units of the Provincial Police, local authorities, Son Hoa District Police, and Suoi Trai Commune Police to build a Security and Order Safety Cluster around the Song Ba Ha Hydropower Plant. Since its establishment, the company has not had any incidents related to security and order. In order to effectively carry out security work when incidents occur, the company has also coordinated with Son Hoa District Police to establish a coordination regulation on security and order protection at the Song Ba Ha Hydropower Plant; the two sides have coordinated well to implement these regulations.

Currently, the company is finalizing the coordination regulations with the provincial police on security and order protection work at the Song Ba Ha hydropower project. In addition, every month the company sends staff to participate in monthly meetings with the Suoi Trai commune police to inform and grasp the security and order situation in the area of the factory, spillway, water intake, as well as coordination plans for action when situations arise.

General Director of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company Vu Huu Phuc said: The Company has received attention and close direction from Power Generation Corporation 2, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises, local authorities at all levels, especially the Provincial Police and Son Hoa District Police in production and business activities as well as in the movement of All People Protecting National Security and Social Order and Safety. During the past time, the unit's officers and employees have always been proactive in preventing and fighting against security and order incidents at the office and factory area.

Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company was awarded a certificate of merit by the Minister of Public Security for its outstanding achievements in the movement of All people protecting national security in 2023; the Provincial People's Committee awarded a certificate of merit for its outstanding achievements in the emulation movement For National Security in 2021; the Provincial People's Committee awarded the emulation flag for the leading unit in the emulation movement in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2022; the Ministry of Industry and Trade awarded the emulation flag for the leading unit in the emulation movement in 2017, 2018; the Prime Minister awarded a certificate of merit for the period from 2017-2021.
