Currently, Bac Ninh Electricity Company has established a shock team of 30 officers and workers with full protective gear and construction tools and equipment from various units to support the Yen The Regional Electricity Management Team to fix problems after the storm and quickly restore power when the water recedes.
Regional power management teams are also required to inspect the entire power grid safety corridor, review locations at risk of landslides and flooding, and develop emergency response plans when necessary. The 24/7 on-duty force is fully equipped with safety tools, life jackets, protective gear, and rescue equipment to be ready to participate in troubleshooting when required. At the same time, the Company uses mobile loudspeakers to propagate to the people to ensure safety when turning on the power after floods.
Bac Ninh Electricity Company recommends that people in affected areas should check their household electrical system (from the meter) before using electricity again, ensuring that wires, sockets, circuit breakers and electrical equipment are completely dry, with no signs of electrical leakage, cracks or damage.
Never touch electrical equipment with bare hands if you are not sure it is safe. For equipment or wires that have been flooded, remove them, dry them or replace them before use. You should turn off all circuit breakers or circuit breakers in the house and only turn them back on after a thorough inspection. If you detect any unusual signs such as electrical leakage, smoke, sparks or a burning smell, immediately turn off the power and notify the nearest Electricity unit for timely support. Do not make temporary connections yourself, do not use bare wires or wet sockets to avoid the risk of electric shock, fire or explosion, which can endanger life and property.
