Following the discussion session, voters from Tuyen Quang and Ninh Binh provinces expressed their confidence in the results achieved in socio -economic development over the past five years, and placed their hopes on the decisions of the National Assembly and the Government for the coming period.

Place your hopes on the country's new development stage

Mr. Hang Mi De, former Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, former Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee (old) said that in the period of 2021-2025, despite many difficulties, the country still achieved comprehensive results in all fields, especially stabilizing the macro economy, ensuring social security and maintaining national defense and security. In the northern mountainous region, people's lives have gradually improved, essential infrastructure has received investment attention, many key traffic routes such as the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway have opened up new development opportunities for the region.

“After the merger, the northernmost region needs more specific mechanisms to effectively exploit inter-regional potential, especially transportation, tourism , human resources and culture. This will be the driving force for Tuyen Quang province to make a stronger breakthrough in the period 2026 - 2030,” Mr. De expressed.

From the northernmost point of the country, Mr. Tran Duc Chung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lung Cu commune, Tuyen Quang province, said that local people are very excited to enjoy poverty reduction programs, new rural development, and border tourism infrastructure. The traffic system, electricity grid, schools, and medical stations have been invested synchronously, creating conditions for community tourism development and increasing people's income.

“We hope the Government will continue to pay more attention to vocational training policies, support tourism development and consumption of highland products so that people in Lung Cu and border communes can have more sustainable livelihoods,” Mr. Chung shared.

Voters in Tuyen Quang believe that the decisions passed at this session will provide more motivation for the unified region to continue changing and make worthy contributions to the overall development of the country.

Continue to perfect the two-level local government model

Following the discussion session, voter Truong Cong Khai, Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh My commune, Ninh Binh province, said that the National Assembly delegates frankly raised the difficulties and problems encountered when operating the two-level local government: Human resources and digital infrastructure have not met the requirements, the lives of some officials and civil servants have been affected when merging. In addition, problems in decentralization, delegation of power, finance, administrative procedures are still slow, citizen reception work has not met expectations... At the same time, he also proposed solutions to operate the two-level local government effectively, accordingly, it is necessary to invest in digital infrastructure, synchronize land and population data, reduce administrative procedures, determine job positions, implement new salary policies, standardize the team of commune-level officials...

Voter Nguyen Van Ha, Phu Ly ward, Ninh Binh province expressed his confidence in the results achieved in the country's socio-economic development; at the same time, he highly appreciated social security policies, supporting the lives of the poor and disadvantaged areas such as eliminating temporary houses, exempting tuition fees from kindergarten to high school, investing in boarding schools in border areas...

According to voter Nguyen Van Ha, the two-level local government model after the restructuring has a stronger decentralized apparatus and more convenient procedures. However, at present, there are times and places where citizen reception has not met expectations, administrative procedures are still slow... Therefore, to operate the two-level local government effectively, there needs to be specific mechanisms and policies to resolve the difficulties and problems that National Assembly deputies have raised.
