Lam Dong voters propose to resolve shortcomings in public investment and slow-progress projects

The National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong Province has just visited Loc Nga Commune, Bao Loc City before the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Many voters proposed that it is necessary to promptly resolve the problems related to the slow implementation of public investment projects in the area.

At the conference, on behalf of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, full-time delegate Trinh Thi Tu Anh reported to voters the results of the 9th Extraordinary Session; the main contents of the 9th Session, 15th National Assembly; an overview of the socio-economic situation, anti-corruption work in the first quarter of 2025.

At the meeting, voters of Bao Loc City in general and Loc Nga Commune in particular expressed their joy at the results of the country's socio-economic development. Voters trust the leadership and direction of the Party, the National Assembly, the Government and Lam Dong Province; at the same time, they acknowledged the quality and effectiveness of the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong Province over the past time.

With a spirit of democracy and high responsibility, local voters have sent many opinions and recommendations to the National Assembly Delegation, such as the need to promptly resolve the shortcomings related to the slow implementation of public investment projects and works in Bao Loc city in general and Loc Nga commune in particular; the situation of exploiting and transporting soil on the southern bypass of the city is complicated, potentially posing a risk of dangerous landslides that need to be promptly prevented and handled; Lam Dong province needs to soon have a plan to continue the construction and completion of the southern bypass to put it into use, avoiding loss and waste of existing works and meeting the travel needs of the people.

In particular, many voters reflected that the rural water supply and drainage system invested by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (now the Department of Agriculture and Environment of the province) in the two communes of Loc Nga and Dai Lao still has many shortcomings and inadequacies. Therefore, currently, local people still do not have tap water, which needs to be considered and resolved. Recently, the incident of sudden voltage increase causing short circuits and fires in household appliances of many households in Nau Sri village (Loc Nga commune) needs to be considered and resolved soon for the people. Some voters also recommended that the Central Government consider preferential policies, ensuring the rights and interests of non-professional staff at the grassroots level after the arrangement, merger, and streamlining of the administrative apparatus; and legal regulations related to drug crimes and corruption.

Representatives of Loc Nga commune and Bao Loc city leaders frankly received and fully and thoroughly explained the opinions, recommendations and reflections of voters under their authority.

Regarding the Bao Loc City Southern Bypass Project, Deputy Director of Lam Dong Province Department of Construction Truong Trung Thang informed voters about the plan and preparations for implementing the project from the provincial budget in the coming time.

At the meeting, on behalf of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province, National Assembly Delegate Nguyen Van Hien received and acknowledged the opinions and recommendations of voters of Loc Nga commune in particular and Bao Loc city in general. At the same time, he affirmed that most of the opinions and recommendations showed the enthusiasm and responsibility of voters towards the development of their homeland and country.

“Currently, the country is changing with major strategic breakthroughs. In particular, the revolution of streamlining the apparatus from the central to the grassroots level has been and is being implemented drastically and effectively. Thereby, opening up great opportunities for the whole country to enter a new era, an era of the Vietnamese people's rise,” emphasized National Assembly Deputy Nguyen Van Hien.

Regarding other opinions, the Lam Dong Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies will fully synthesize them to report to the National Assembly, as well as propose that central ministries, branches, and provincial departments and branches consider and resolve them in the coming time.
