The meeting was chaired by Director Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet. At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Trong Ho, Director of the National Sports Complex, reported on the operation situation as well as the difficulties that the unit is facing. Mr. Ho said that the staff and workers are currently very thin while the workload is large; current revenue is only enough to cover essential expenses; the infrastructure system of many items has degraded and needs maintenance and repair... He expressed his wish to continue to receive support, assistance and close direction from the leaders of the Department of Sports and Physical Training so that the unit can gradually overcome difficulties.

Before the above report, the representative of the Department of Organization and Personnel of the Department of Sports and Physical Training acknowledged the unit's efforts in quickly completing the organizational structure and perfecting the personnel of departments and offices according to the direction. The representative of the Department of Planning and Finance also emphasized that the National Sports Complex is a completely financially autonomous unit, but in the past, business activities have encountered many obstacles due to problems in the mechanism and other objective and subjective factors.

Grasping the current situation, Director Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet directed the Complex to urgently complete the management apparatus in accordance with regulations. The Department of Sports and Physical Training always accompanies and supports the unit, however, the decisive factor still lies in the initiative of the staff.

“The staff must stick to the work. Any department that is slow, within the authority of the Department, I commit to immediately handling. The unit must carry out its tasks seriously, from small to large tasks, in accordance with regulations. In the immediate future, it is necessary to review the Projects and Reports sent to the Ministry, clearly identify the problems and proactively coordinate to handle them,” Director Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet directed the National Sports Complex.

Regarding the issue of degraded facilities, the Director requested that the unit proactively start repairs, assign staff to regularly inspect, review, and clean up within the scope of their capacity.
