This afternoon, April 18, the General Statistics Office held a Conference to Announce the Decision of the General Statistics Office Director on personnel work. Attending were leaders of the General Statistics Office; Comrade Tran The Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the General Statistics Offices of the provinces and cities: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Binh , Quang Tri, Hue city.

The leaders of the General Statistics Office and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung presented the retirement decision according to the regime to Mr. Tran Thanh Binh, former Head of the Ha Tinh General Statistics Office, and assigned the responsibility of the Office to Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh - Deputy Head of the Office.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the General Statistics Office presented the Decision of the Director of the General Statistics Office on resolving the early retirement policy for Mr. Tran Thanh Binh, former Director of the Ha Tinh Provincial Statistics Office according to Decree 178 and Decree 67 of the Government ; Presented the Decision on assigning the task of being in charge of the Ha Tinh Provincial Statistics Office to Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh, Deputy Director of the Ha Tinh Provincial Statistics Office, until there is a person to hold the position of Director. The Decision takes effect from April 1, 2025.

Speaking at the conference, representatives of the Department of Statistics and comrade Tran The Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged the contributions of comrade Tran Thanh Binh in nearly 40 years of work. He has excellently completed his tasks and retired, enjoying benefits according to regulations.

For comrade Nguyen Trung Thanh, the leader of the General Statistics Office and the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, it is recommended to continue promoting capacity and intelligence, together with the collective of the Ha Tinh Provincial Statistics Office to perform well the tasks, improve the quality of reporting, statistical analysis and forecasting; strengthen coordination and sharing, process information with departments and branches to advise the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and the General Statistics Office to closely assess the socio-economic situation in the area, especially coordinate with the Document Team to prepare reports for Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress, and in the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census../.
