The 'AI in Action 2025' competition was held by Unitour in Hanoi.

On September 16th, the Unitour 2025 event series, part of the "Practical AI" competition co-organized by the National Data Center, the National Data Association, Vietnam Television, and Techcombank, will continue its journey to Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Students and the tech startup community will have the opportunity to meet MC Phi Linh, MC Tran Ngoc, interact with singer Ha MyO; and join leading AI experts in Vietnam to find 'practical AI' talent.

Previously, the Unitour 2025 series of events kicked off at the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang University of Technology on September 5th and 8th.

As a competition on Artificial Intelligence (AI) with a cash prize of 1 billion VND, scholarships for studying abroad up to 1 million USD, and especially the opportunity to become one of the millionaires under 30 years old with Techcombank, the program is attracting a lot of attention from technology talents nationwide.

The Unitour series of events is organized in all three regions of Vietnam (North, Central, and South) with the goal of becoming a bridge between experts, the startup community, and technology students nationwide, aiming to promote opportunities for applying AI in practice and to find AI talent to serve the technological development of the country.

At the two Unitour events held in the Central and Southern regions, experts answered students' questions about the 'AI in Action' program, from participation rules and registration methods to important competition content. The event aimed to find AI talents for the upcoming rounds, the closest being the Final Round, which is expected to be broadcast on VTV channels in mid-November 2025.

The presence of MC Khanh Vy, MC Hong Phuc, and a lineup of famous KOLs such as actors Le Bong and Vu Thinh, singer Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, and TikToker Cong Ken… truly heated up the atmosphere of the stage and auditorium of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang University of Technology.

A large number of young people enthusiastically participated, interacted, and asked questions to the organizers; the high level of interaction created a strong effect, a vibrant atmosphere, and a deep connection between students and the program.

The Unitour 2025 series of events is designed to inspire and spread the spirit of "practical AI," encouraging young people to apply technology to solve real-world problems; bridging the gap between the classroom and businesses through connections with AI, data, and innovative technology experts; providing participants with the necessary skills to confidently enter the competition; and building a dynamic and sustainable young AI community, a foundation for Vietnam's technology ecosystem.

Accordingly, today's tech talents are proactively transforming artificial intelligence into a powerful tool in research, while constantly experimenting with and refining the latest AI models to find breakthrough solutions to practical problems, from optimizing small processes to solving more complex challenges.

This is helping to shape a pioneering generation, ready to master technology and make Vietnam a center for innovation, developing AI solutions and applications in the region and globally.

Information about the "AI in Action" competition will continue to be disseminated to many universities and startup communities nationwide to attract talented technology teams to participate and conquer the challenges. The "AI in Action" competition was officially launched in early August 2025, with a unique format combining entertainment, technology, and in-depth education.

The competition will take place across various platforms, from television and digital platforms to social media, creating an engaging and large-scale playground for the nationwide technology community to discover and nurture technological talent, promote the AI ecosystem, and contribute to realizing the goals of the National Digital Transformation Strategy.
