Da Nang has a new Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee to replace Ms. Ngo Thi Kim Yen.

On July 19, the 12th session of the 10th term People's Council of Da Nang City, term 2021-2026, conducted personnel work related to the dismissal of the People's Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee and the election of additional positions.

Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, read the proposal to dismiss Ms. Ngo Thi Kim Yen from the position of Member of the People's Committee and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee.

Da Nang City People's Council delegates vote by secret ballot at the 12th session of personnel work

Ms. Yen submitted a resignation letter and based on the guidance documents and regulations, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City proposed to dismiss her from the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. The People's Council of Da Nang City voted and agreed to the dismissal.

Mr. Le Trung Chinh also read the report on the proposal to elect additional member of the People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City for Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation. The result was that 49/49 delegates present elected Mr. Tran Chi Cuong as Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City.

Mr. Tran Chi Cuong (born in 1973; hometown Hoa Hai ward, Ngu Hanh Son district, Da Nang city); Master's degree in business administration, bachelor's degree in tourism - hotel business administration, bachelor's degree in English. Mr. Cuong was Deputy Director of Da Nang City Department of Tourism, Head of the Economic and Budget Committee of the People's Council.

Dismissed and elected personnel receive congratulatory flowers

Also at the meeting, the Da Nang People's Council dismissed Ms. Vo Thi Nhu Hoa, former Director of the Department of Justice, from her position as a member of the City People's Committee. Ms. Hoa was dismissed from her job by the Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee on her personal request from April 17. The Da Nang People's Council also elected Ms. Tran Thi Kim Oanh, Director of the Department of Justice, as an additional member of the City People's Committee.
