Da Nang: Developing logistics to promote consumption and export of agricultural, forestry and fishery products

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued Document No. 1237/UBND-SCT on strengthening logistics connectivity to promote consumption and export of agricultural, forestry and fishery products.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Da Nang City assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the city to review, adjust and supplement the planning and structure of agricultural, forestry and fishery production in the area close to the development of infrastructure and agricultural logistics services and regulate the operating model of agricultural logistics service centers.

Coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to review and supplement agricultural logistics service centers for approval by competent authorities; advise on supporting land and essential infrastructure for the construction of agricultural logistics centers.

Propose to develop mechanisms and policies according to authority, encourage and attract capable businesses, organizations and individuals to participate in investing in construction, management and operation of agricultural logistics service centers in the area.

Forming production and consumption chains for agricultural products in key raw material areas and reorganizing production according to cooperative models and cooperatives linked with enterprises to provide agricultural products that ensure quality, safety and sustainability through a system of agricultural product logistics service centers.

At the same time, the People's Committee of Da Nang City assigned the Department of Industry and Trade of the city to effectively implement the Project "Developing logistics services in Da Nang City to effectively connect with the Central Key Economic Zone and the East-West Economic Corridor in the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050". Promote trade promotion activities, connect cooperation in the field of logistics; support businesses to effectively build agricultural supply chains close to logistics services to international markets according to programs and activities chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The Departments of Finance, Transport, Investment Promotion and Support Board; Da Nang City Customs Department... study the contents under the responsibility of the locality and of the relevant Ministries and branches in Official Dispatch No. 13/CD-TTg to propose and advise the City People's Committee to deploy specific tasks according to the functions and tasks of the agencies and units.
