Retail giant launches virtual mobile network, prefix 0775

Regarding the deployment of FPT mobile network, Mr. Hoang Trung Kien, General Director of FPT Retail, said that FPT Retail will integrate services, utilities, and content in the FPT ecosystem and partners so that users can conveniently use services and effectively exploit the selected packages.

Leveraging the technological strengths of FPT Corporation, FPT mobile services will also apply advanced technologies such as Cloud computing, Chat BOT, AI... to improve service capacity and meet customer needs.

FPT enters mobile telecommunications market with prefix 0775

FPT Retail was licensed to provide telecommunications services nationwide on May 30, 2023. Thus, within just 6 months, FPT Retail has completed the process of investing in hardware and software systems to officially deploy services to customers thanks to technological advantages and support from FPT Corporation.

The technical system deployment time for a new mobile virtual network operator will typically take 12 to 15 months.

What is a virtual mobile network?

Mobile Virtual Network Operator is a new model in Vietnam. Virtual mobile networks do not own their own telecommunications infrastructure like traditional mobile networks, but provide mobile phone services by purchasing traffic from available network operators, then retailing it to users.
