According to the Daily Mail , Al Hilal will spend 100 million pounds (119 million euros) to buy Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United. The midfielder born in 1994 could become the main character in the most expensive player sale in the history of Old Trafford, surpassing the record of Cristiano Ronaldo, when he joined Real Madrid for 94 million euros in the summer of 2009.

Al Hilal will give Bruno until the end of May to decide his future. In the Saudi Pro League, the Portuguese player will sign a three-year contract, accompanied by an income of up to 700,000 pounds a week, a figure nearly three times what he is receiving at Old Trafford.

Previously, coach Ruben Amorim had declared that Bruno was not for sale. However, everything changed after MU failed in the Europa League final and lost the ticket to the Champions League. British media revealed that the "Red Devils" leadership would sell any name in the main squad, as long as they received a reasonable offer.

As for Bruno, he is also no longer sure about his future at MU. Speaking after the defeat in Bilbao, the 30-year-old midfielder declared: "If MU needs money, just sell me."

This season, the Portuguese midfielder has been in impressive form with 19 goals and 15 assists in all competitions. However, MU has had a poor performance, finishing second in the Europa League and 16th in the Premier League.
