"Invincible" Duy Nhat defeated 2 opponents, excellently won the gold medal in Thailand

Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat continued to assert his talent in the Muay Thai arena when he won the gold medal at the ITMA 2025 tournament in Thailand (60kg weight class) on the evening of May 22. Notably, the tournament took place in a "marathon" format with no breaks between rounds. In one evening, Duy Nhat defeated two opponents to excellently win the championship in this tournament.

Having been granted a direct entry into the semi-finals, Duy Nhat began his journey to conquer the title with a match against Brazilian boxer A. Chaves. The Vietnamese boxer played proactively, with precise punches. In the end, he successfully defeated Chaves by knockout.

He used flexible tactics, skillful movements and many effective attacks. In the end, Duy Nhat won by points after 3 rounds.

The gold medal in Thailand continues to affirm Duy Nhat's name, even though he is 36 years old. In the past, the Vietnamese boxer has won many championships in Southeast Asia and the SEA Games.

Duy Nhat will represent Vietnam at the 2025 World Games in August in China. In this important tournament, the boxer born in 1989 will compete in the 57kg weight class. Previously, at the 2022 World Games in the US, Duy Nhat won the gold medal in this weight class after defeating Almaz Sarsembekov.
