Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology received the Government's Emulation Flag

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong highly appreciated the outstanding contributions of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) to higher education in particular and Vietnamese education in general over the past time.

“Many generations of HUTECH students are currently holding key positions in large agencies, organizations and enterprises at home and abroad. The HUTECH brand affirms its position in the Vietnamese highereducation system. I believe that the school will continue to promote its strengths, better meet the requirements of training high-quality human resources in the new era, and at the same time reach regional and international levels,” Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong emphasized .

HUTECH was awarded the Government 's Emulation Flag.

Sharing at the celebration, Prof. Dr. Ho Dac Loc, President of HUTECH, said that the 30-year milestone is not only a memorable milestone but also opens a new journey with many expectations and greater goals.

“The school will continue to innovate its training programs, improve teaching quality, and promote a modern university governance model to adapt to the constant changes in the labor market and social needs. The training model will aim to maximize the capacity and qualities of learners,” said Professor Loc.

According to Professor Loc, in the coming time, HUTECH will expand international cooperation, strengthen links with businesses in the fields of training and research. The birth of the international scientific journal METS, published by a prestigious Singapore publisher, is a concrete step demonstrating the school's commitment to integration and development on an international scale.

HUTECH clearly defines its training strategy in conjunction with scientific research. The school will encourage lecturers and students to actively participate in highly applicable research topics; at the same time, it will continue to improve its policy on developing science, technology and innovation, attracting talented experts and scientists to build a professional academic community.

In the framework of the 30th anniversary celebration, HUTECH was awarded the Emulation Flag of the Government and the Traditional Flag of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. Also on this occasion, 3 groups under HUTECH received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister.
