According to the school, equivalent conversion is the conversion of admission scores between admission methods and admission combinations.
The school uses the percentile method to convert equivalent scores between admission methods.
The school relies on the following factors to build a percentile table for admission based on many different criteria.
In which, the reference to the equivalence table between the 2025 high school exam combinations issued by the Ministry of Education and Training . Combination codes other than the common combination are referenced to the following 6 combination codes:

Based on the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Ho Chi Minh City National University, the school has built a table of percentiles of the 2025 high school exam combinations corresponding to the percentiles of the competency assessment scores (ĐGNL), percentiles of the transcript combinations according to the reference combination codes above (6 combinations), and the common percentiles for the score combinations converted from foreign language certificates combined with 2 transcript subjects of method 1d from the data of candidates registering for admission to the school on the admission information portal of the Ministry of Education and Training, in which the original combination is A00 (or A01) of the 2025 high school exam results.
The value between the two percentile levels k% and (k+1)% is calculated by the following formula knowing that the values in the percentile table are arranged from low to high. For example, calculating the y position based on x is as follows:

Based on the above-mentioned percentile table, the school conducts admission according to each threshold corresponding to each row on the percentile table with the value change on each row of the original combination A00 (or A01) being 0.01.
Candidates at the same level will have the same standard score. Candidates with scores in many methods or combinations will be considered for the method or combination with the highest benchmark in the percentile table corresponding to each major or group of majors the candidate registered for.
In case the number of candidates passing the standard score is greater than the number of quotas, additional criteria will be used according to the priority level.
The first sub-criteria, the priority level is based on the level of academic awards considered by the school. Awards with high points will be given priority over awards with low points. International/national awards are given priority over provincial/municipal awards.
At the same level, based on the first, second, and third place rankings, the championship medals (gold), silver, bronze, and finally the consolation prize. See the 2025 admission information for more details on the awards that are awarded points.
Second sub-criteria, in case the first sub-criteria is not sufficient for classification, use the second sub-criteria as follows: If candidates have the same standard score and the same bonus score of the award, the priority order of admission will be determined according to the priority order of candidates' registration wishes.
This announcement was made in the context that there are only a few hours left before the Ministry of Education and Training's application registration system will close.
