Delegates voted to approve the list of presidium members of the Provincial Health Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term.
– During 2 days (June 15 and 16), the Provincial Health Trade Union held its 15th Congress for the 2023-2028 term. Attending the congress were leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation, the Department of Health, affiliated units and enterprises, and 110 delegates representing more than 4,300 union members and workers from 26 affiliated grassroots unions.
According to the report, during the 2018-2023 term, the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) and trade union activities in the Lang Son Health sector have achieved many results in various fields, contributing significantly to the development of the entire sector. Trade union activities in the sector always closely follow the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws with annual work programs and plans suitable to the actual situation, focusing on caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, especially during the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The leader of the Provincial Federation of Labor gave a speech directing the congress.
Over the past 5 years, trade unions at all levels have participated in reviewing regular salary increases, ahead of schedule and for seniority exceeding the framework for over 2,100 union members and employees; advised over 100 union members and employees on related policies; visited and gave Tet gifts to over 6,500 union members and employees with a total value of over 3.1 billion VND; 8 union members and employees of the industry have been supported to build and repair "Union Shelters" with a total value of 240 million VND...
In particular, during the complicated development of the COVID-19 epidemic, trade unions at all levels visited and supported nearly 700 union members and workers participating in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic with a total amount of more than 200 million VND. The Health sector trade union organized the donation of 125 boxes of instant noodles; 250 boxes of milk worth 52 million VND to grassroots trade unions directly participating in the prevention and control of the epidemic; proposed the Provincial Labor Federation to support 80 union members and workers affected by the COVID-19 epidemic with a total amount of more than 40 million VND.

At the congress, delegates discussed and shared experiences, proposed solutions to effectively implement the goals and tasks set out in the new term 2023 - 2028 with specific targets such as: Striving to develop and recruit 600 or more new union members; 85% of grassroots unions completing their tasks well or more, of which 20% of grassroots unions completing their tasks excellently; 90% of agencies, units, and enterprises or more have union organizations that meet cultural standards...

With the spirit of democracy and responsibility, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Provincial Health Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term, consisting of 15 comrades; elected a delegation of 22 comrades to attend the higher-level trade union congress. At the first meeting, the Executive Committee elected comrade Pham Thi Nhan, Chairwoman of the Provincial Health Trade Union for the 2018-2023 term, to continue to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Health Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term.
The leaders of the Department of Health awarded certificates of merit to outstanding groups and individuals.
During the program, 9 collectives and 18 individuals with outstanding achievements in the labor movement and trade union activities for the 2018-2023 term received certificates of merit from the Director of the Department of Health and the Industry Trade Union.
