The first Party Congress of Tay Ho Ward held its preliminary session.

HNP - On the afternoon of August 7th, the preliminary session of the First Congress of the Tay Ho Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030, took place, with the participation of 199 delegates, representing a total of 6,139 Party members of the entire ward Party Committee.

In his opening speech at the preparatory session, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Tay Ho Ward, Nguyen Dinh Khuyen, stated that this was the first Party Congress of Tay Ho Ward after the reorganization and merger of administrative units, marking an important shift in organizational model and opening a new era of development with a higher status, vision, and requirements.

The Congress has a very important task: to review and evaluate the results of leadership in implementing political tasks during the 2020-2025 period; to determine the direction, objectives, tasks, and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; and to contribute opinions to the draft documents of the 18th City Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.

Nguyen Dinh Khuyen, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tay Ho Ward, delivered the opening speech at the preparatory session.

"For the official session of the Congress to be successful, the preparatory session is of great importance, preparing the necessary conditions to ensure that the official session of the Congress takes place in accordance with regulations and principles, promoting the spirit of democracy, unity, intelligence, and responsibility of each delegate, making correct, wise decisions that will guide the development of our ward's Party Committee in the coming years," emphasized Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khuyen.

During the 2020-2025 term, despite facing many difficulties, the Party Committee, government, and people of Tay Ho District united, innovated, and strived to effectively implement the Resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress and the 17th City Party Congress. The economy experienced significant growth, budget revenue exceeded targets, and many projects leveraging local potential were implemented. Culture and society saw positive changes, and people's living standards improved. National defense and security were maintained, and administrative reform and digital transformation yielded clear results. Party building and the political system were comprehensively strengthened, and management effectiveness was increasingly enhanced.

With the motto: "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development," the First Congress of the Tay Ho Ward Party Committee set the overall goal for 2030: To enhance the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and the quality of cadres and Party members; to build a clean, strong, and comprehensive Party Committee and political system. To promote the tradition of unity, the spirit of innovation, creativity, and efficiency; to promote synchronous digital transformation in all fields; to preserve and promote the value of West Lake. To build Tay Ho Ward into a rapidly and sustainably developing area, becoming a cultural, service, and tourism center of the Capital.

During the preparatory session, the Congress proceeded with the following tasks: electing the Presidium, the Secretariat, and the Credentials Committee; approving the Rules of Procedure of the Congress, the Program for the official session of the Congress; and several points to note at the Congress.
