The 1st Congress of Tay Ho Ward Party Delegates held a preparatory session.

HNP - On the afternoon of August 7, the 1st Congress of Tay Ho Ward Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, held a preparatory session, with the participation of 199 delegates, representing a total of 6,139 party members of the entire ward Party Committee.

In his opening speech at the preparatory session, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ward People's Council Nguyen Dinh Khuyen said that this is the first Congress of the Tay Ho Ward Party Committee after organizing the arrangement and merger of administrative units, marking an important shift in the organizational model, and at the same time opening a new period of development with a higher position, vision and requirements.

The Congress has a very important task: Reviewing and evaluating the results of leadership in implementing political tasks in the 2020 - 2025 period; determining directions, goals, tasks, and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term; contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 18th City Party Congress and the documents of the 14th Party Congress.

Party Secretary, Chairman of Tay Ho Ward People's Council Nguyen Dinh Khuyen delivered the opening speech of the preparatory session.

"For the official Congress session to be a success, the preparatory session is of great significance, preparing the necessary conditions, ensuring that the official session of the Congress takes place in accordance with regulations and principles, promoting the spirit of democracy, solidarity, intelligence and responsibility of each delegate, making correct, wise decisions, providing direction for the development of our ward Party Committee in the coming years" - Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khuyen emphasized.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, despite facing many difficulties, the Party Committee, government and people of Tay Ho have united, been creative and made efforts to effectively implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the 17th National Party Congress of the City. The economy grew well, the budget revenue exceeded the plan, many projects to promote local potential were implemented. Culture and society changed positively, people's lives improved. National defense and security were maintained, administrative reform and digital transformation achieved clear results. The work of building the Party and the political system was comprehensively strengthened, and management effectiveness was increasingly improved.

With the motto of action: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the 1st Congress of Tay Ho Ward Party Committee determined the general goal by 2030: Improving the leadership capacity, fighting strength of the Party organization and the quality of cadres and Party members; building a clean and strong Party organization and political system in all aspects. Promoting the tradition of solidarity, the spirit of innovation, creativity and efficiency; promoting synchronous digital transformation in all fields; preserving and promoting the value of West Lake. Building Tay Ho Ward to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming the cultural, service and tourism center of the Capital.

At the preparatory session, the Congress carried out the following contents: Electing the Presidium, Secretariat, and Delegate Qualification Examination Board; approving the Congress Working Regulations, the Congress Program for the official session; and some contents to note at the Congress.
