On the morning of April 26, at the Interior Palace - Hue Imperial City, the Hue Festival Organizing Committee opened the exhibition "Displaying and displaying ornamental plants, orchids, three-region ornamental stones, Hue craft village products, tea art and culinary and experience activities" - one of the highlights in the series of events of the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025.

Bonsai pots with beautiful shapes and forms

According to Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, this year's event attracted the participation of more than 600 artisans from many provinces and cities across the country, including far-flung localities such as Lao Cai, Can Tho, An Giang ... The artisans brought more than 1,000 works of bonsai, orchids and ornamental rocks.

Thieu Phuong garden space - where orchids are displayed and Co Ha garden - where bonsai and art stones are exhibited, are arranged harmoniously in the ancient palace grounds, creating a poetic and lively scene with precious orchids, skillful bonsai trees and stone slabs with the appearance of mountains and rivers...

“We want to use the program to honor and promote ornamental plants, traditional craft villages, cuisine and the art of tea drinking, connecting all in the special cultural heritage space of Hue. Thereby, contributing to promoting eco-tourism, protecting the environment and developing the local socio-economy,” said Mr. Trung.

Co Ha Garden is a place to display and exhibit works of bonsai and rocks.

Ms. Hoang Thi Mai, a tourist from Hanoi, shared when she first attended the program: I have been to the Imperial City before, but this time was special. The solemn and majestic space of the Imperial City combined with the artistic works of trees and orchids make visitors feel like they are lost in a royal garden.”

Not only bringing their works to the exhibition, many artisans also contributed financially and donated valuable works for auction, raising funds to support the Fund for Eliminating Temporary Housing in Hue City and the Hue Heritage Conservation Fund.

The exhibition will last until May 2, 2025, coinciding with the April 30 and May 1 holidays, and promises to attract tens of thousands of domestic and foreign visitors. In particular, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. every night (April 26 to May 1), the Interior Affairs Palace, Thieu Phuong Garden and Co Ha Garden will be open for free - creating conditions for visitors to explore the magical beauty of the Imperial Citadel at night, where nature, architecture and culture blend together.

In addition, from April 26, at Hue's Ky Dai, there will also be a pyrotechnic performance - cannon shooting every Saturday evening.
