Dak Lak calls for blood donations to serve emergency patient needs

The Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center is calling on all qualified, healthy and enthusiastic officials, civil servants and volunteers to donate blood to meet the increasing demand for emergency care and treatment of patients at hospitals after the flood.

Accordingly, people can donate blood at the following locations: Dak Lak Pedagogical College (November 27), Sac Tu Khai Doan Pagoda (November 28), Education Trade Union (November 29), Buon Ma Thuot Secondary School (November 30). The start time is 7:00 a.m. In addition to the above locations, volunteers can go directly to the Central Highlands General Hospital to donate blood.

According to the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center, the blood donation reception in Dak Lak has been facing many difficulties recently; some blood donation points have had to be temporarily postponed due to many objective reasons. The blood reserve is only enough to meet the demand for 3-5 days. Notably, the Eastern region of Dak Lak has not yet been able to organize blood donations, the risk of blood shortage for emergency and patient treatment is very high.

The Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center calls on all healthy people to donate blood and promotes and mobilizes everyone to participate in this meaningful and humane activity.
