Dak Nong transfers nearly 148 billion VND from a slow-progressing project to another project

On the afternoon of November 8, information from the Department of Planning and Investment of Dak Nong province said that of the nearly 148 billion VND of transferred investment capital this time, there were more than 33 billion VND of local budget capital; more than 73 billion VND of central budget capital; and more than 37 billion VND of ODA capital.

In addition to capital transfer, Dak Nong will reduce more than 66 billion VND unallocated for works and projects using ODA capital.

According to the Department of Planning and Investment, districts and cities with good capital absorption projects need to proactively work with units to discuss plans to supplement and transfer capital.

The Department of Planning and Investment also proposed that the Provincial People's Committee promptly reward districts and cities with good disbursement rates and criticize units with low disbursement rates to return capital.

Also related to this issue, the Department of Planning and Investment requires departments, branches, and People's Committees of districts and cities to uphold spirit and responsibility and resolutely disburse capital on schedule.

The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board needs to proactively urge contractors to implement projects with low disbursement volume.
