"Miss Vietnam 2018" Tran Tieu Vy
Miss Tieu Vy wore an ao dai prepared by the Organizing Committee and showed up early with her family. She said her parents and younger brother had come to Ho Chi Minh City to attend the ceremony and cheer on their daughter at the parade. The whole family showed their patriotism by wearing the red flag with a yellow star.
“The moment of immersing myself in the parade through the streets, seeing the national flag fluttering, people who seemed to be strangers but all shared the same joy – the joy of peace , of freedom and independence. That was the first time Vy truly felt small but also extremely lucky and proud to be a part of the historical milestone of the nation.
Happiness is even more complete when having family by your side, accompanying and following you. Seeing the proud eyes of my parents, Vy feels more clearly the love for my homeland, the strength of connection and belief in the path I am walking. These will be precious memories, the motivation for Vy to continue to contribute to society and the country."
Talking about the training sessions, Tieu Vy said that the most emotional moment for her was when the rehearsals suddenly rained. Even though their clothes were soaked with rain, the Vietnamese military forces still stood tall, not moving from their positions. Everyone prayed together for the rain to stop, everyone wanted to be able to continue the rehearsal for the Great Ceremony. And just a few minutes later, the rain stopped completely, like a boost from nature. It was the spirit of discipline, resilience and unity between the army and the people at that moment that made her extremely emotional and more proud of the Vietnamese spirit.
"Miss Vietnam 2024" Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy
Miss Kieu Duy just returned from an event in Vinh Long late on April 29, where she received her official sash to become the Tourism Ambassador of Vinh Long province. As soon as she arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, she immediately prepared for the parade. With her busy schedule, Kieu Duy said: "Actually, if I didn't have an event tonight, I probably wouldn't be able to sleep well because I was so excited before the parade. But on the bus back to Ho Chi Minh City, Duy took the opportunity to rest and regain her strength to prepare for today's ceremony."
It is known that Miss Kieu Duy has had many of her own activities to celebrate the national holiday such as taking photos at the Independence Palace, appearing in the MV "Cho con la nguoi Viet Nam" by singer Tung Duong (feat rapper Manbo) with 1,300 students of the FPT school system. Miss Thanh Thuy received much attention when she appeared in the Cultural, Sports and Media Bloc, marching to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. Wearing a traditional ao dai, holding a red flag with a yellow star, Thanh Thuy scored points with her elegant and graceful image. The beauty queen fully expressed her national pride and spirit in this meaningful historical moment of the nation.
