The program was organized by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Dan Phuong (Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Hanoi City Police) in coordination with the People's Committees of the communes: Thuong Mo, Trung Chau, Hong Ha.
This is an activity to implement Plan No. 101 of Hanoi City Police on launching a special emulation movement to carry out the peak of propaganda and guidance on fire safety and rescue for facilities and residential areas in the city.
At the propaganda session, professional staff of the Dan Phuong Fire Prevention and Rescue Team disseminated knowledge and laws on fire prevention and rescue, information on typical fires in the district and city, risks of fire and explosion at facilities; basic knowledge on fire prevention and fighting; initial fire handling skills; fire escape skills; instructions on the use of common fire prevention and fighting equipment, such as: Fire extinguishers, gas masks, fire extinguishing systems, hammers, axes, crowbars... for people.
Also at the training session, the staff of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Dan Phuong answered questions from the people related to fire prevention and rescue work; propagated and mobilized households to equip themselves with fire extinguishers, demolition tools, and open a second escape route.
The training also provided basic knowledge on fire prevention and fighting for people, contributing to preventing and stopping the occurrence of fire and explosion; proactively deploying forces and means, promptly handling fire and explosion situations as soon as they arise, minimizing damage to people and property.
