The Provincial Military Party Committee summarizes 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 33 and Resolution No. 29 of the Politburo.

On August 17, the Provincial Military Party Committee held a conference to review 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW dated September 28, 2018 on "National Border Protection Strategy", Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW dated July 25, 2018 on "Homeland Protection Strategy in Cyberspace" of the Politburo . Comrade Tran Hong Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee chaired the conference.

Attending the event were: Lieutenant General Duong Dinh Thong, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 1; Le Hai Hoa, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee , Secretary of the City Party Committee; Hoang Van Thach, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of Military Region agencies; provinces: Lang Son, Bac Kan, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang , Thai Nguyen; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, and armed forces units in the province.

Over the past 5 years, implementing the spirit of Resolution No. 33 of the Politburo on "National Border Protection Strategy", the Provincial Military Party Committee has actively advised the People's Councils and People's Committees at all levels to consolidate and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of management and operation of activities in border areas. Building a "strong and widespread" militia and self-defense force, the rate of trained military officers has reached 94.3%. Up to now, the whole province has established 16 permanent militia squads in border communes, maintaining proper and orderly operations; the activities of 13 military cells in communes, wards and towns. The forces have actively coordinated to patrol and protect the border 11,858 times/84,114 participants; cleared 333.125 km of patrol routes and border sight lines.

Mobilizing people to participate in preventing and denouncing crimes, maintaining 38 models with 1,405 groups and points of the movement "All people protect national security", protecting border sovereignty and security and preventing and combating all kinds of crimes; establishing 119 self-managed border and boundary marker groups, 339 groups to maintain security and order in hamlets and villages with more than 400 cadres and party members of border posts in charge of 2,176 households in border areas. Planning 21 socio-economic development projects, 8 projects to build, renovate and upgrade agencies and units of the Provincial Military Command in accordance with regulations, in sync with building the battle formation in the defense area. Coordinating the implementation of 24 resettlement projects in border districts, of which more than 10 projects have been completed and put into use with a total cost of 101 billion VND, supporting 260 households; establish 3 new border hamlets in the districts of Quang Hoa, Ha Lang, and Trung Khanh.

Regarding Resolution No. 29 of the Politburo, the targets, goals and tasks of the resolution have been specified in the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term, the resolution on leadership of annual, 6-month and quarterly tasks in accordance with local realities, requirements of military and defense tasks in the new situation; directing the organization of preliminary and final reviews and evaluation of the results of leadership of military and defense tasks in conjunction with the results of implementing Resolution No. 29 closely from the grassroots to the Provincial Military Command. Strictly implementing the Law on Cyber Security, officers and soldiers do not violate the process of use and actively fight against false arguments in cyberspace...

Concluding the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Hong Minh emphasized: To continue promoting the achieved results and successfully implementing Resolution No. 33 and Resolution No. 29, the Provincial Military Party Committee continues to effectively disseminate and implement resolutions and action programs on the "National Border Protection Strategy" and "National Defense Strategy in Cyberspace". Coordinate propaganda to all levels, sectors, organizations and reporters at all levels on the contents of the resolutions to promote the combined strength, and join the entire population in building, managing and protecting the national border and cyberspace. Regularly focus on doing a good job of Party building and unit building, promoting the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, especially the exemplary role of leading cadres at all levels.

Timely advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on national defense and security tasks and build a national defense foundation associated with a solid, stable and long-term people's security posture; focus on building a comprehensively strong, "exemplary, exemplary" agency and unit, a clean and strong Party Committee; strengthen propaganda and guide people to raise awareness and comply with the Law on National Borders, Cyberspace, legal documents, treaties and agreements on border demarcation and landmarks.
