The Party Committee of Naval Region 5 thoroughly grasps and implements Resolution 59-NQ/TW of the Politburo.

On the morning of July 1, at Phu Quoc Special Zone (An Giang Province), the Party Committee of Naval Region 5 held a conference to disseminate and implement Resolution 59-NQ/TW of the Politburo on international integration in the new situation; Conclusion 125 KL/TW of the Secretariat on strengthening the implementation of Directive 25-CT/TW on promoting and elevating multilateral diplomacy to 2030.

The conference was held in a combination of in-person and online formats from the Naval Region 5 Command bridge in Phu Quoc special zone to affiliated units stationed in Nam Can commune, Ca Mau province.

Through the conference, cadres and party members in the Region were fully informed of the meaning, importance, guiding viewpoints, goals, tasks and key solutions of Resolution 59-NQ/TW and Conclusion 125-KL/TW. Thereby, raising awareness, unifying will and action in the implementation process, contributing to effectively implementing the policy of comprehensive and extensive international integration, raising the level of multilateral diplomacy, firmly protecting national and ethnic interests.

Conference delegates

Studying and thoroughly understanding Resolution 59-NQ/TW and Conclusion 125-KL/TW is the basis for Party committees and organizations at all levels to determine directions of action and develop implementation content suitable to the characteristics and requirements of each unit.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Ngo Van Thanh, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Naval Region 5, requested Party committees, Party organizations, political commissars, political officers, and political agencies at all levels to continue to promote their core role in leading, directing, and implementing Resolution 59-NQ/TW and Conclusion 125-KL/TW. The focus is on concretizing the contents and measures that are close to the practical situation; strengthening coordination with local Party committees, authorities, and functional forces in implementing defense diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy.

The Chief of Naval Region 5 Command witnessed the emulation covenant of agencies and units.

The Political Commissar of Naval Region 5 noted that during the deployment process, units must regularly monitor and evaluate; promptly summarize, conclude, and draw lessons. Thereby creating consensus and unity within the entire unit, contributing to the successful implementation of the defense diplomacy and international cooperation tasks of the Navy in general and Naval Region 5 in particular in the new situation.

On the same morning, at Phu Quoc Special Zone, the Naval Region 5 Command launched the emulation movements "Army emulation in innovation and digital transformation" and "Digital education for the masses", creating motivation for officers and soldiers to promote their intelligence, spirit of overcoming difficulties, actively study, master technology and improve digital capacity, contributing to the successful completion of assigned duties and tasks.
