At the seminar "Equipment for business leaders" held on the morning of November 25 in Hanoi organized by FSB Institute of Management and Technology (FPT Group), experts discussed learning strategies for pioneering managers in the digital age.
Mr. Tran Quang Huy - Head of Training Department of FSB Institute of Management and Technology emphasized that in the digital age, technology changes rapidly, the business environment fluctuates constantly, training managers becomes a vital factor. To adapt, managers need to develop three main pillars: knowledge, digital skills and pioneering thinking.

In terms of knowledge, managers need to master comprehensive management and understand the relationship between fields to make effective decisions.
Digital skills, especially the ability to analyze data and apply new technology, help managers make accurate and quick decisions. “This is also our strength and is included in our training programs. Recently, we have promoted equipping students with AI skills, not only wanting to develop this capacity internally but also spreading it to all students in the courses,” said Mr. Huy.
Finally, pioneering thinking – daring to challenge, innovate and lead change, is the key factor for managers to adapt to new environments.
According to Mr. Huy, to build the above capacities, training facilities encourage students to: start learning early, learn through work, apply technology in training, and innovate methods according to the philosophy of connected learning.
The ultimate goal is to help managers not only master knowledge and skills, but also know how to apply them to work, create real value and lead businesses to sustainable development in the digital age.

Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Pham Quang Vinh - Chairman of the Vietnam - US Association, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs , former Vietnamese Ambassador to the United States (2014-2018) said that the world as well as Vietnam are changing. I am very fast in a new era.
Along with breakthroughs in science and technology, management thinking and business models are changing dramatically. This requires each individual, especially the future leadership team, to have a vision that combines technology, global management and the ability to adapt to the new environment. This is a necessary requirement.
“The educational model we are discussing can become a key to help students open up their own future,” Mr. Vinh commented.
Within the framework of the event, the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program oriented towards digital management thinking was launched. This is a program jointly implemented by the University of Colorado Denver (USA) and the FSB Institute of Management and Technology in Vietnam. The program is taught according to the Colorado Denver curriculum, preserving all content, methods and assessment standards as studying in the United States.
