Extinguishing a bus fire on the North-South highway

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Authorities quickly arrived at the scene to urgently respond to the passenger bus fire on the North-South expressway through Thanh Hoa province.

Fire police and rescuers extinguished the fire.

According to the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Provincial Police, at around 12:20 p.m. on June 2, the unit received a report of a passenger bus fire on the North-South Expressway, near the Ha Linh (Ha Trung) intersection.

According to initial information, when the passenger bus with license plate 37H-086.XX was traveling from Thanh Hoa to Hanoi to the above location, it suddenly caught fire. Upon discovering the fire, the driver stopped the bus and helped all passengers to move out safely.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Area 3, under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, mobilized officers, soldiers, vehicles and equipment to quickly arrive at the scene.

The fire caused severe damage to the car.

Upon arriving at the scene, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force promptly deployed a plan to contain and extinguish the fire. The bus fire was extinguished shortly thereafter.

The fire did not cause any casualties. However, the car was damaged. The cause and damage of the fire are under investigation.
