Vietnam's mark at Sofia University's Asian Festival

This is an annual event organized by Sofia University in collaboration with the Embassies of Asian countries, attracting the participation of a large number of students and residents of the capital Sofia.

Many unique traditional cultural features of Vietnam were introduced throughout the event through rich and diverse activities such as art performances, photo exhibitions, culinary introductions, tea and coffee culture, calligraphy, Vietnamese language, fine arts, etc.

Festival attendees were especially delighted with the dance performance “Rain” and the song “Beautiful Vietnam” by the Pretty Hat Club, combining traditional Vietnamese costumes and music with contemporary art.

Many Bulgarian guests were excited to experience making their own filter coffee for the first time or to participate in a Vietnamese-themed watercolor painting class on bamboo and rattan materials.

The recent activities introducing Vietnamese culture at Sofia University have left a good impression on the youth and people of Bulgaria, contributing practically to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Bulgaria diplomatic relations (1950-2025).
