Strengthening mass mobilization work in site clearance

Currently, in Pho Yen City, many large projects are being implemented, such as: Resettlement and construction of protection works for the new Z127 Factory of the General Department of Defense Industry; roads and items belonging to the Cultural - Sports - Green Park Complex of the city; Nam Tien resettlement area expansion; connecting road from the Square to the Thai Nguyen - Vinh Phuc Regional Linkage Road; connecting road from DT261 to DT266; Nam Thai urban area (24.68ha), Ba Hang ward residential area, Thanh Dong residential area, Yen Binh urban area (phase 2) ... Therefore, the city has to clear large areas, affecting many households. In particular, some projects have a short implementation time, some projects need to arrange resettlement, cemetery relocation but are often implemented at the same time as the project's clearance work, so the project clearance process encounters many difficulties.

Comrade Bui Van Luong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee, Secretary of Pho Yen City Party Committee, said: With the viewpoint that when there is consensus from the people, no matter how difficult the task is, it will be successful. From there, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has directed the Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, the Fatherland Front, and socio -political organizations in the city to proactively coordinate with the government, investors, and relevant State agencies to implement mass mobilization work according to the motto: Publicity and transparency in planning, investment policies, land use plans, land recovery plans, compensation and resettlement policies, etc. so that people in the project area know, give opinions, and supervise the implementation.

At the same time, the city organized a conference to collect public opinions, organize propaganda and mobilization so that cadres, party members, union members, association members and people in the project area fully understand the meaning and importance of the programs and projects for socio -economic development and the rights of local people when implementing the project. - Comrade Bui Van Luong

Especially when implementing key projects, the City Party Committee assigns comrades in the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to be in charge of the area, directly directing the Fatherland Front and the city's mass organizations, specialized agencies, Party committees, authorities, and socio-political organizations of communes and wards to carry out propaganda and mobilization work so that people comply with the land acquisition policy. At the same time, listen to and grasp the aspirations and opinions of the people, thereby promptly removing obstacles, especially arranging human and material resources to help families whose assets and architectural objects must be moved.

With the motto of flexibility and perseverance, the mass mobilization cadres, the Fatherland Front, mass organizations, prestigious people in the community, the core forces of local mass organizations, mass mobilization teams, and mobilization teams always stay close to the grassroots, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people. From there, they reflect to the Party Committee and the government to have direct dialogue, promptly resolve people's questions, help people understand, comply with and supervise the implementation of the project according to regulations.

Thanks to the good work of mass mobilization, mobilizing people to implement investment projects for socio-economic development in the city, many key projects and works have completed site clearance and are under construction. From 2020 to now, the city has cleared 103 works and projects with an area of ​​over 668 hectares.
