Expedite the progress of sidewalk renovation projects in Buon Ma Thuot and Tan An wards.

The Department of Construction has just issued a directive regarding the implementation of construction investment projects related to the beautification, renovation, and repair of sidewalks in the area, aiming to ensure urban aesthetics, construction order, and the transportation needs of the people.

Accordingly, the Department of Construction requires businesses and infrastructure development units currently implementing projects in Buon Ma Thuot ward and Tan An ward to strictly comply with all regulations during the construction process.

For projects and works that have been licensed and are under construction by Dak Lak Water Supply Joint Stock Company, Viettel Dak Lak, and MobiFone Central Network Center, the Department of Construction requests that they continue to implement them in accordance with the content of the licenses issued by the competent authorities; and at the same time, closely coordinate with relevant units to find appropriate construction methods, accelerate progress, and complete them before December 15, 2025.

During construction, investors must prioritize environmental hygiene and occupational safety; organize the stockpiling of materials in designated locations; and minimize disruption to the daily lives and movement of residents. The restoration of sidewalks must ensure quality, technical standards, and urban aesthetics, avoiding prolonged construction periods that disrupt urban order.

For projects planned for implementation in the near future, the Department of Construction requires relevant units to coordinate with the People's Committees of Buon Ma Thuot and Tan An wards to review and evaluate construction plans. If the projects meet the conditions for licensing and implementation, they must ensure completion of construction and restoration of sidewalks before December 30, 2025.

The Department of Construction also noted that construction units need to implement technical infrastructure items synchronously, minimizing the digging of sidewalks, especially on sidewalks that have already been paved with terrazzo tiles or granite, in order to avoid waste and negative impacts on the urban landscape.

In the long term, units are required to develop plans for upgrading and renovating technical infrastructure systems in stages and annually; proactively coordinate with project management boards and localities to comprehensively review investment needs, ensuring that the deployment of technical infrastructure in the province is carried out synchronously and effectively, contributing to building a more civilized, modern, and integrated Buon Ma Thuot city.
