The mark of a green journey
According to EuroCham, De Heus was honored this year for its comprehensive sustainable development strategy, integrating environmental factors into all activities – from production, supply chain to corporate culture.
In recent years, De Heus Vietnam has gradually transformed its operating system towards reducing emissions and optimizing energy. At factories, the company has deployed solar power, biomass boilers and electric forklifts, contributing to a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. Along with that are programs to promote circular agriculture , reduce antibiotics in livestock farming, as well as support farmers to apply more effective and sustainable models.
The year 2025 marks a series of key activities of De Heus in Vietnam such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions with solar power systems at factories and successfully converting 100% from diesel forklifts to electric forklifts; recycling 1,000 tons of plastic packaging according to "Extended Producer Responsibility" (EPR).

De Heus Vietnam connects and shares its vision of sustainable development with more than 100 strategic suppliers through the Supplier Conference, contributing to creating a more sustainable value chain.
Along with that, De Heus participates in implementing the RAS – IMTA sustainable shrimp farming model with a scale of more than 1,000 hectares in Ca Mau , increasing the value of Vietnamese shrimp products in the international export market.
The company also implemented the “SCorn” project to build a sustainable corn supply and improve corn growing capacity in the Central Highlands, helping to reduce dependence on imported raw materials and increase farmers’ income.
Long-term social initiatives
Not only pioneering on the green journey, De Heus also continues to expand its positive impact to the community through many long-term social initiatives, notably the "Go to School with a Full Stomach" program - supporting nutrition and building a boarding kitchen to improve learning conditions for students in disadvantaged areas.

Of which, 2,000 trees were planted by DeHeus members themselves, bringing the total number of trees planted by the enterprise to 68,000, contributing to spreading the spirit of action for the environment.
Sharing about the award, Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of Sustainable Development De Heus Vietnam and Asia Region, said: “Sustainable development does not come from slogans, but must start from specific actions – from energy, production to every small decision every day. This award is a source of motivation for us to continue to persevere on that path.”
