Agents/Shipping Lines and cargo owners are requested to move goods and assets out of warehouses and yards at Hoang Dieu Port before August 22, 2024.

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – The People's Committee of Ngo Quyen District has just issued Notice 352/TB-UBND on the movement of goods and assets at the warehouses and yards of Hoang Dieu Port under Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company to implement the Nguyen Trai Bridge construction investment project and urban beautification of the surrounding area.

Accordingly, based on Decision No. 4554/QD-UBND dated December 30, 2022 of the City People's Committee on approving Component Project 2 - Land recovery, compensation, and site clearance support under the Nguyen Trai Bridge Construction Investment Project and urban beautification of the surrounding area; implementing the direction of the City People's Committee in Notice No. 183/TB-VP dated May 8, 2024, in which agreeing on the progress of handing over the site of Hoang Dieu Port under Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company in the headquarters area in July 2024, the area of berths 1, 2, 3 in September 2024, the remaining areas in 2025.

According to Document No. 620/CHD-KDTT dated July 2, 2024 of Hoang Dieu Port Company Limited, currently, Hoang Dieu Port still stores many long-standing shipments in 04 warehouses and many yard areas. The Port has repeatedly sent notices to Agents/Shipping Lines and cargo owners as declared on the Cargo manifest to urge them to come and receive the goods, but up to this point, no one has come to receive the goods. Currently, the volume of these shipments is very large (about more than 5,000m3), of which the longest storage time is since 2008. The shipments are all goods that have not been cleared through customs.

To ensure the progress of the project to hand over the recovered land according to the schedule of the City People's Committee, the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen District requests the Agents/Shipping Lines and cargo owners (names in the attached list) to proactively contact Hoang Dieu Port One Member Co., Ltd. to move goods and assets out of the warehouses and yards at Hoang Dieu Port One Member Co., Ltd. before August 22, 2024. For goods and assets that are not moved within the above deadline, the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen District is not responsible for any loss or damage; at the same time, the Agents/Shipping Lines and cargo owners must be responsible for paying the costs of moving, renting warehouses, and storing (if any).

Ngo Quyen District People's Committee requests Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company and Hoang Dieu Port One Member Co., Ltd. to promptly inform and forward this notice to Agents/Shipping Lines and cargo owners before July 31, 2024 for information and implementation./.
