Request for guidance on completing the planning dossier for the Northwest Urban Area of ​​Chu Lai Airport

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document assigning the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, units and localities to inspect and guide the Provincial Economic Zones and Industrial Parks Management Board to complete the construction zoning plan (scale 1/2,000) of the Northwest Urban Area of ​​Chu Lai Airport to ensure compliance with current legal regulations; advise the Provincial People's Committee to report to competent authorities for consideration and comments in accordance with regulations.

The construction zoning plan of the Northwest Urban Area of ​​Chu Lai Airport is located in the communes of Tam Nghia, Tam Quang, Tam Giang and Nui Thanh town (Nui Thanh district).

The East borders the planned land of the Energy Gas Industrial Park, the port logistics land and the planned land of the Duty Free Zone; the West borders the Truong Giang River and An Tan River; the South borders National Highway 1 and An Tan River; the North borders the Truong Giang River.

The scale of the research and planning of this urban area is more than 538.5 hectares with criteria equivalent to a type II urban area; population of about 35,000 people.

This is a mixed-use urban area, diversifying service center development, creating land funds to invest in new residential areas and resettlement areas for large projects in Nui Thanh district.
