One of the highlights of this year’s Math exam is the harmonious combination of basic knowledge and practical math problems. The questions help students not only apply knowledge but also practice logical thinking, reading comprehension and problem-solving skills. Problem types such as equations, systems of equations, quadratic functions, geometry, etc. remain familiar but are renewed in a competency-based approach.
Candidates discuss after math exam
Sharing after the exam, Ngo Duc Anh, a student at Tan Phu Secondary School (Dong Xoai City) said: “As the first group of students to take the exam under the new program, I found this year’s Math exam quite easy and accessible. If you have a solid grasp of the knowledge, getting 8 points or more is within reach. I am confident that my test can achieve around 8.25 to 8.5 points.”
Sharing the same opinion, Pham Khanh Bang, a student at Tien Hung Secondary School, shared: “The test was within our ability and familiar with the content that the teachers had reviewed for us. I did quite well on the test and really hope to get into my dream school.”
According to the candidates, this year's Math exam did not cause heavy psychological pressure for students. Together with the Literature exam in the morning, up to this point, the candidates have completed 2/3 of the journey of the 10th grade entrance exam.
Tomorrow morning (June 3), students will continue to take the final exam, English. Candidates for specialized classes will continue to take the exam on the afternoon of June 3 and June 4.
