Today (May 31), nearly 12,000 students in Soc Trang province participated in the entrance exam for grade 10 public schools with the first subject being Literature with a time limit of 120 minutes. The exam consists of 2 parts: Reading comprehension (4 points) and Writing (6 points).
The 10th grade entrance exam for Literature subject of Soc Trang province in 2025 is as follows:
From this year, according to the new regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, there are 3 methods of admission to grade 10 of high school: entrance exam, admission review or a combination of entrance exam and admission review. The selection of admission method is under the authority of the locality.
Regarding the entrance exam method for grade 10 high school, to ensure consistency and implement the policy of a light and inexpensive exam, the Ministry of Education and Training generally stipulates the implementation of 3 subjects and exams, including: Math, Literature and a third subject or exam selected by the Department of Education and Training.
The third exam subject is selected from among the subjects assessed by scores in the secondary school generaleducation program, ensuring that the same third exam subject is not selected for more than 3 consecutive years.
