Traveling to Korea, Vietnamese girl unexpectedly finds love with handsome host

Having a passion for exploring new lands, Nguyen Mai Ly (from Quang Nam) often packs her backpack and travels alone. She often tries to save money on food and accommodation.

Four years ago, the young woman came to Korea and found a free place to stay through an app. Thanks to this opportunity, she met and became acquainted with a young man named Jun - the owner of the house.

Sharing in Nguoi ket about her love story, Nguyen Mai Ly said that at first she was not impressed with the landlord because this guy was gentle, sincere and honest while Ly's taste was cold bad boys.

The first time we met, Ly never thought she would marry a Korean man.

Therefore, when they first met, Ly never thought she would date Jun. However, life has many surprises that even she herself did not expect.

Ly said that after her days in Korea, she continued her journey to another country to travel and did not contact her host again.

However, the Korean guy did not miss out on his chance to meet the Vietnamese girl. During the days Ly returned to her daily life in Vietnam, Jun actively contacted and texted her. Shortly after, the guy decided to go to Vietnam to meet Ly.

During their time together, Ly's love gradually blossomed. Just one month after their first meeting, the two officially became a couple.

After 8 months of knowing each other, Jun brought Ly to Korea to meet his family in a surprising way. The first time they met, although they were warmly welcomed by her boyfriend's family, Ly realized that Jun's parents did not like her.

Her feeling was correct when Jun's mother later expressed her thoughts that Ly came to Jun for another purpose, not because of true love.

Hearing what her boyfriend's mother said, the Vietnamese girl felt hurt and could only cry because her love for Jun was real. Understanding the resentment his girlfriend had to endure, the Korean guy spoke up to defend her and had unnecessary conflicts with her mother.

The young girl spent time building family relationships with her husband's family.

After her son shared, the mother understood Ly better, but their relationship could not improve immediately. Especially when Jun, for love, gave up his job in Korea to live in Vietnam for 3 years.

The relationship between Ly and her mother-in-law only really improved when a year ago, the couple returned to Korea and brought their cute son with them. The appearance of the child helped them get closer, talk more and understand each other better.

Regarding her family, Ly said that because she had been independent since she left her hometown in Quang Nam to study and work in Da Nang , her mother had great confidence in her daughter's abilities. Therefore, Ly's mother was not too worried about her daughter marrying far away, going to another country to live. Ly herself did not often share the pressures of life with her biological mother because she did not want her mother to worry about her.

The Vietnamese bride has been living in Korea with her husband's family for about a year. However, she still feels unfamiliar with life here due to differences in culture, weather, and lifestyle.

"Korea is a developed country so everyone is very busy and doesn't have much time for each other. During Tet, we only meet for one meal," Ly said.

The Vietnamese daughter-in-law shared that she really misses Vietnamese food. Sometimes, she goes into the kitchen to show off her Vietnamese cooking skills to invite her parents-in-law or buys delicious fruits to visit her grandparents on holidays.

The Vietnamese bride also said that, regarding work, she is focusing on developing an online business to have stability and economic independence.

Thanks to her sharp thinking and good understanding of customer psychology, Ly's business was very successful. The number of employees increased from 1 to 15. Only half a year after starting the business, the young girl had saved enough money to buy a house.

In addition, when she has free time, Ly, her husband and son record lovely moments in their daily lives and post them on YouTube. Currently, her YouTube channel has received more than 200 thousand followers.
