On the evening of July 5th, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education announced the results of the 2023 university entrance exam and the cut-off scores for regular undergraduate programs, including direct admission and early enrollment methods.

The benchmark scores for 4 majors according to the admission method using high school learning results above 29 points include: chemistry pedagogy, mathematics pedagogy, biology pedagogy and physics pedagogy.

The admission score is the sum of the average scores of 3 subjects over 6 semesters of high school plus priority points (if any) and rounded to two decimal places.

With the admission method using high school academic results combined with a specialized aptitude test, the cut-off scores for each major are as follows:

The admission score includes the total score of the specialized competency assessment test organized by Ho Chi Minh City University of Education in 2022, 2023 or Hanoi University of Education in 2023 (converted to a 10-point scale) of the main subject (multiplied by a coefficient of 2), plus the score of the remaining 2 subjects in the combination calculated from the average score of the subject in 6 semesters in high school. This total score is converted to a 30-point scale and plus priority points (if any) and rounded to two decimal places.

Master Le Phan Quoc, Deputy Head of the Training Department of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, said that candidates will be officially recognized as having graduated from high school in 2023; Having an admission score of at least the admission score for each major and method; Having registered their wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission information portal or on the national public service portal from July 10 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30 and having their names on the official admission list after completing the official virtual filtering process according to the Ministry's general plan.
