Check out the Apple devices being manufactured in Vietnam

Vietnam is one of the countries that is mass-producing and assembling Apple accessories and devices and exporting them to markets around the world.

In a recent announcement to expand the training program for supply chain employees in Vietnam, the company listed for the first time the list of Apple devices manufactured in our country, including iPad tablets, Mac computers (including MacBook and Mac Mini), AirPods headphones, HomePod speakers and Apple Watch.

Apple Watch is one of the Apple devices manufactured in Vietnam.

Along with the main equipment list mentioned above, partner factories including Foxconn, BYD, Lens, Innovation, Goertek and Yuto also produce other components and accessories related to Apple's ecosystem.

This year, Apple plans to launch more than 45 technical training courses for employees at many of its major manufacturing facilities in the country. The company said the new programs aim to enhance technical training and support supplier employees in Vietnam in developing skills in automation, smart manufacturing, and programming.

“We are excited to expand technical training to more suppliers in Vietnam, helping their employees learn new skills in advanced fields and develop stronger careers,” said Sabih Khan, Apple’s senior vice president of operations.

Since 2020, Apple products "made in Vietnam" have gradually become popular, first with AirPods, then Apple Watch, HomePod and most recently iPad, MacBook. Mac mini 2024, the first Mac model to meet carbon neutral standards to protect the environment, is also manufactured in Vietnam, showing that domestic processes are increasingly meeting higher standards.

These products are often sold in foreign markets, such as Europe and the US, instead of in Southeast Asia. For example, the Mac mini 2024 assembled in Vietnam is available in the UK and the US, while the version sold in the domestic market is manufactured in China.

Previously in April 2024, Apple also announced a supply chain list, noting that the number of its manufacturing partners with factories or offices in Vietnam increased from 27 to 35 units in the period from 2022 to 2023, leading in Southeast Asia and fourth in the world .
