Dien Bien: Male student with broken arm receives special support in 10th grade entrance exam

NDO - Regarding the organization of the 10th grade entrance exam in Dien Bien, a member of the Examination Council said: among the 9,315 candidates taking the exam, there was 1 candidate at the exam site of Quyet Tien Middle School - High School (Tua Chua district) who broke his right arm and was given special support to complete the exam.

Before the exam day, candidate Thao A Dung, a student at Tua Thang secondary school (Tua Chua district), had an accident and broke his right arm, unable to hold a pen to take the exam.

Mr. Ngo Xuan Chinh, Chairman of the Examination Council of Quyet Tien Middle and High School, said: As soon as we received information about Dung's accident, the examination council, following the instructions of the Departmentof Education and Training, developed a plan to provide maximum support and ensure the rights of the candidates.

“Dung was arranged a spare exam room with 2 exam supervisors. One supervisor transcribed Dung’s test papers through his dictation. Dung’s entire exam process in the room was monitored by a camera system,” Mr. Ngo Xuan Chinh informed.

Candidate Thao A Dung received enthusiastic support from teachers throughout the exam.

It is known that at the Quyet Tien middle school-high school examination site, there were 189 candidates registered to take the exam; Thao A Dung's case was special among the candidates taking the exam at the school site and also special among the more than 9,300 candidates in the whole province. However, with the enthusiastic support of teachers and examination council officers, Dung was quite confident in taking the exam.
