Autumn Economic Forum 2025 opens with tight security procedures

On the morning of November 25, the Autumn Economic Forum 2025 officially entered its first working session in an urgent atmosphere and with tight security. All preparations from security, logistics to technology have been completed, ensuring the international event takes place safely, solemnly and on schedule.

Since early morning, the forum area in Ho Chi Minh City has been under tight security. Authorities have deployed multiple layers of checks and controls at entrances and exits according to international standards. The system of scanners, identification and delegate card checks has been operated continuously, helping to smoothly manage the flow of guests, press, experts and international delegations.

Inside the venue, logistics, technical and reception staff were busy completing the final steps before the opening session began. The check-in area was scientifically arranged, supporting multiple languages; the information desks, guidance areas, main and secondary meeting rooms were all checked for lighting, sound, online connection and interpretation equipment.

The product display unit on the sidelines of the forum is checking the machinery and equipment.

The technology display areas, innovation exhibitions, and highlights of the event have completed all presentation items, projection techniques, and experience guides. The urgent but professional atmosphere of preparation shows that everything is ready, creating the foundation for the series of important activities of the Autumn Economic Forum 2025 in the next three working days.

The Autumn Economic Forum 2025, co-organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR Vietnam) and the World Economic Forum (WEF), took place over three days with a series of diverse activities. November 25 opened with a youth inspiration session and the CEO TeaConnect 500 program. November 26 was the main working day with a plenary session, thematic discussion groups and a High-level Policy Dialogue. November 27 ended with a visit to businesses, innovation centers, investment connection events and cultural exchanges.

Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, said that the city has been carrying out preparations for the 2025 Autumn Economic Forum with the utmost urgency, professionalism and responsibility. All relevant departments, branches and units have closely coordinated to ensure that each item from logistics, security, technology to professional content is completed on schedule.

This is an international economic and foreign affairs event, gathering leaders of large organizations, experts and the global business community. Therefore, Ho Chi Minh City determined to prepare very carefully, not allowing any mistakes to happen. The city has conducted many rounds of review, rehearsed operational plans, tested online connections, translation systems, reception procedures as well as prepared for contingencies.

According to Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Ho Chi Minh City hopes that the event will contribute to creating a positive impression, promoting international cooperation and opening up many new development opportunities for Vietnam and the city in the coming time.

At around 8:30, the first session of the Forum began. This was an inspirational session for young people, where the WEF Executive Director had a dialogue with young scientists, startups and students about the vision of sustainable development in the digital age.
