OCOP 2025 Forum connects, promotes and develops sustainably

An Giang The Mekong Delta OCOP Forum 2025 took place in An Giang from September 25 to 28, aiming to connect trade, promote OCOP products, and promote sustainable rural economic development.

The Mekong Delta OCOP Forum 2025 with the theme “Linking for Development – ​​An Giang 2025” will take place from September 25-28, 2025, at Nguyen Hue walking street, Long Xuyen ward, An Giang province. The opening ceremony will be broadcast live on An Giang Newspaper and Radio and Television at 7:00 p.m. on September 25, 2025.

The Mekong Delta OCOP Forum 2025 is an annual event held in rotation among the provinces in the Mekong Delta region to help promote, introduce and support the connection of An Giang province's products to provinces, cities and businesses nationwide. The event is chaired by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , in coordination with the An Giang Provincial People's Committee, to promote trade connections, promote OCOP products and develop sustainable rural economy.

Main activities of the Forum

The conference on connecting trade of OCOP products in the Mekong Delta took place on September 26, 2025 at Hoa Binh 1 Hotel, Long Xuyen Ward, An Giang Province, chaired by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Thanh Nam and the People's Committee of An Giang Province. The conference is a meeting place for departments, businesses, distributors and OCOP entities to promote domestic consumption and export of products. The OCOP product development workshop and online livestream sales activities within the framework of the forum aim to support entities that need to promote OCOP products on digital platforms.

The contest of typical OCOP products in the Mekong Delta region will take place on September 26-27, 2025, under the chairmanship of the Central Office for New Rural Area Coordination. This contest aims to honor outstanding OCOP products, encourage creativity and improve product quality, contributing to promoting local brands in domestic and foreign markets. For the space for displaying, introducing and selling OCOP products, it will take place throughout before and during the event. The total scale of participation is 226 booths, the exhibition space will introduce typical OCOP products, specialties of An Giang province, the Mekong Delta provinces and many localities across the country.

The exhibition space for typical OCOP products of Vietnam with a scale of 45 booths is chaired by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. Most of them focus on displaying and introducing typical OCOP products nationwide. The space displays, exhibits, and honors typical OCOP products with 3 to 5 stars and products participating in the contest "Typical OCOP products of the Mekong Delta in 2025".

An Giang has 36 booths displaying OCOP products

An Giang province's exhibition space, with a scale of 36 booths, focuses on introducing OCOP products, specialty products, typical rural industrial products, agricultural products, start-up products, socio-economic achievements, the life and career of President Ton Duc Thang, and photo exhibitions of typical OCOP products of An Giang province.

In addition, there is also an exhibition space for tourism, culture and cuisine of the province. The scale of 20 booths of typical cuisine of An Giang province, local OCOP products, introducing traditional cakes (banh ich, banh bo, banh nep, banh thot not, banh chuoi steamed ...), typical local dishes (bun ken, bun ca Chau Doc, bun ca Kien Giang ...), promoting typical dishes of An Giang associated with the exhibition space for tourism, culture and local cuisine.

At the product display areas, the organizers also arranged check-in areas, took souvenir photos, and introduced online sales activities on digital platforms to promote and connect product consumption.

The Mekong Delta OCOP Forum 2025 is not only a trade promotion event, but also an opportunity for localities to demonstrate the spirit of regional cooperation, jointly develop the rural economy in a sustainable, creative and integrated direction. This is also an opportunity to promote the image, culture, tourism and specialties of An Giang province and the Mekong Delta region and create an exciting atmosphere to welcome the arrangement of administrative units and the construction of a 2-level local government model nationwide.
