The hypothetical situation is that storm No. N has strong winds of level 8-10, gusts of level 11, moves quickly and is likely to make landfall from Khanh Hoa to Ben Tre , in which Ba Ria-Vung Tau province is in the area directly affected. The storm is forecast to cause serious damage to the power grid system, technical equipment as well as threaten the safety of people and officials and workers in the electricity industry.
Faced with such complicated developments, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Electricity Company has proactively deployed emergency response measures such as: checking and reinforcing the power grid, preparing backup power supply plans, proactively cutting off power in areas at risk to prevent accidents, and at the same time arranging forces to be on duty 24/7 and ready to handle incidents when they occur.

The drill was organized systematically and seriously with close coordination between functional units. The situation was handled effectively, on time and ensuring technical and safety requirements.
Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Deputy Director of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Power Company, said that this exercise aims to test and improve leadership, command and management capacity in natural disaster prevention, control and search and rescue, as well as practice emergency handling skills for power grid incidents, contributing to minimizing damage to people and property if natural disasters occur in reality.
