Parade "Vietnamese Traditional Costumes" 2025 in Can Tho City

For the first time, Can Tho organized a parade of traditional Vietnamese costumes, within the framework of activities to celebrate the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day in 2025 and the 12th Southern Traditional Cake Festival in 2025. To contribute to introducing and promoting the beauty of traditional Vietnamese costumes to the public.

As planned, the 12th Southern Traditional Cake Festival in 2025 will take place from April 4 to 8, 2025 at Binh Thuy District Square, Can Tho City. This is an important cultural and tourism event to preserve and promote the value of Southern traditional cakes, while contributing to promoting the unique features of traditional cuisine to domestic and foreign tourists.

The 2025 Southern Traditional Cake Festival brings a colorful cultural space with many attractive activities for visitors, including: Traditional cake contest; Cake making performance and experience; spaces for traditional cakes from three regions, modern cakes, culinary space; space for displaying and selling OCOP products, souvenirs, regional specialties; Space for displaying and promoting fruits from regions, ornamental plants of all kinds; Ornamental plant contest in Can Tho city; Nightly art programs...

* Event information to register for the Parade:

- Time: 6:00 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2025 (Hung King's Commemoration Day, March 10th of the lunar calendar)

- Meeting point: at Hung King Temple, Can Tho city -> Participate in incense offering -> Parade from Hung King Temple to the Southern Folk Cake Festival area (Lac Long Quan street, Binh Thuy district, Can Tho city)

- Registration period: From March 30, 2025 - April 5, 2025

* Note: Parade participants must prepare their own costumes (can choose from "Ancient costumes", Ao Dai, Ao Ba Ba).

Entrants must have their costumes approved by the Organizing Committee before April 5, 2025.
