His eloquence in communication, optimism and constant effort in work are the outstanding features that impress people about Do Huynh Lam Thinh (from Ho Chi Minh City).

Thinh is currently working at Hoa Sen University. Since childhood, Thinh has cherished the dream of inspiring young people and sharing what he has learned and experienced. The 9X lecturer is proud to be with his colleagues and close friends throughout the past journey. Besides, talented and affectionate students are the source of motivation that helps Thinh to persistently contribute and constantly mature in work as well as in life. Thinh believes that an increasingly better world is built from each positive action and continuous effort of each individual.

At the age of 29, Lam Thinh is a lecturer and Director of the Communication Technology Management program at Hoa Sen University.

He used to have a job with an attractive income in the advertising and media industry, but the dream of a teaching career always smoldered. Thinh decided to study abroad for a master's degree, and it was also the first time he was away from his family. The study period fell during the COVID-19 pandemic, so he could only stay around the school. Thinh learned how to take care of himself and overcome cultural differences to adapt to life in Singapore. "I learned many new things, changed my thinking and re-evaluated what was really necessary for the future," Thinh said. Traveling to countries and integrating into local social life helped Thinh have a more multi-dimensional and in-depth perspective on people and culture.

In that development journey, Thinh's family, especially his father, provided him with reasonable guidance, helping him move forward steadily. On the other hand, the teachers at Hoa Sen University guided Thinh with solid steps, helping him discover himself more deeply. The three guiding principles that followed Thinh throughout his journey were: respecting differences, building critical thinking and lifelong learning. These principles have accompanied him through each milestone of his growth and contributed to helping him reach his goals.

His biggest goal right now is to complete his PhD program, so that he can contribute more practical values ​​to the field of education in the future.
