Duong Trach Temple is dedicated to Saint Chu Dong Tu and his two wives, Princess Tien Dung and Princess Tay Sa, from the reign of King Hung Vuong XVIII. The temple was built early and renovated during the Nguyen dynasty. Today, Duong Trach Temple has a floor plan in the shape of the Vietnamese character "Đinh," consisting of five main halls and two rear halls. The architectural components are made entirely from the same group of precious woods, remaining intact and durable, with many beautiful carvings reflecting the architectural and artistic style of the Nguyen dynasty. Currently, the temple still preserves a number of valuable and representative artifacts such as: royal decrees, historical records, large inscriptions, couplets, thrones and ancestral tablets, palanquins, etc.
Every year, the Duong Trach communal house festival is held from February 6th to 8th (Lunar Calendar). The activities during the festival are solemn, joyful, and exciting, becoming a typical annual cultural event of the locality.
Being classified as a National Architectural and Artistic Monument not only affirms the unique historical, cultural, and religious value of Duong Trach communal house but also makes an important contribution to the preservation and promotion of heritage values.
